Day 5 Milan - Piacenza (86 km)

Today I got a guided tour through Milan, better the center. Almost the whole morning I spent first to set up the new phone. Well a few bankapps I can only finalize back home, otherwise I think I got everything together. The many passwords are really complicated, even with a system. Luckily I had backed up my pictures before the trip, I would have been really annoyed. Then finally it was time to go, by metro to a very special tour. Unfortunately, due to my limited time and my unwillingness to walk much in the heat, only short, but the more intense. Small tip for all who visit Milan, really small, San Bernardino alle Ossa (with ossuary). I will definitely come back again (suits & bikes), with more time. Thanks Marco, I really enjoyed our time together, not only today but also the one year in Mannheim. Our coffee breaks were some of the best things that happened to me there, besides Xia & Valeska. After a very expensive but extremely good breakfast at Lavazza, we went back after the round. I had to / wanted to go, I have but on Monday evening the next appointment in Florence to eat pizza and that's finally 360 km, with at least one mountain in between. So today 90 km, then I would be good at it. No sooner said than done, off I went at half past two, at 37°C, fortunately always steadily downhill to the Po. Of course, a lot of flies had already tapped me yesterday. My legs are covered with bites and that although I have a repellent with me and know the problem, but just did not think. Fortunately, I am not in a malaria area or climate change has not yet reached the point where the flies transmit malaria here. As itchy legs and the heat forced me now and then in the shade, scratch and drink. Fortunately, I have not taken much distance today and had (warm) water with to pour over my head again and again to then take at the next tap cool water to replenish. So it went today in the direction of Po, through the plain. And what can I say, shortly before 6 pm, I was at the Po bike path and it went east long. Nice way, the app claimed that there would have to be a ferry, which there was not, however, a bridge was written in a few kilometers away, all no problem. Unfortunately, the next campsite was out of reach today, tomorrow again, I want to sleep outside again, in this sense good night!
