Day 8 Florence - Sant' Arcangelo 150 km (1500 altitude difference, 37°C)

Today I made my will on the road, with video. Suddenly I didn't feel so well, diffuse dim feeling, the bike also wobbled, the heat. So off into the shade, I had drunk enough, phone out, wife called, banana eaten, water on the head and back, briefly sat down. After 5 minutes it went better, was probably in hypoglycemia. That the bike wobbled, potholes and crosswind, which pushed me today 2x from the road, I also sometimes drive line with the shoulder, one must create distance. That I slipped into hypoglycemia, no wonder, first thing in the morning went really high out of Florence, there were again a few ramps, there flowed the sweat, as earlier in life the beer. Then was also good at some point, and it went a gravel bike path long several kilometers. Really beautiful through this landscape. At some point I was fill up water in a bar, the two ladies were ultra nice. Got melon (be careful not to confuse with Meloni), Cocomero, I was taught by the sugary sweet ladies. They were really super, to me sweaty, oiled, stinky something. Unfortunately, I had to continue, follow the gravel road through Tuscany. Meanwhile, I was again well. At the bike path crossing (bridge / road) were also beautiful the next pharmacy and the distance to the station indicated. Funny, because otherwise signposts are rather scarce. Then further here, still quickly shopping. Also really great and nice people. Really friendly, very helpful, and again free lesson Italian. Singular plural Mela Mele... busta / buste. At the moment the right-wingers in Italy (meloni) seem to be in front, but there are still the very nice Italians, also towards foreigners. Here also on the campsite, my neighbors, the hosts, super friendly.
