already knew the route today. It's not particularly good, on the right side of the Rhine. It's very winding, not always well signposted and often very narrow, not to mention the heat and Sunday. A lot of people are on the cycle paths. Maybe in future I should only do routes on Sundays that are for "experienced" cyclists, i.e. mountainous. It was an e-bike parade today. However, an elderly gentleman took the cake, who was uninhibitedly riding an S pedelec (number plate and max speed approx. 45 km/h) on the cycle paths (I met people more often today, as I often took a break (had time and wanted to save myself for the concert) and so the whole parade that I have already overtook passed me again, there was this game more often today). The gentleman was not only stopped by me once and photographed number plate, a racing cyclist had the same idea. (Those are the ones I know, who else stopped him? Who knows) The excuse "but I'm only going 25 km/h" we'll probably have the Bonn public order office check out, I mean what's next, an e-car or motorbikes going only 25 km/h on the cycle paths? These are cycle paths, not "I only ride 25 km/h paths" and if you now have an S pedlec, then you at least have wider handlebars and they are too wide and you are too motorised for the narrow cycle paths. Really! I took the last photo of him shortly before Cologne. So he can't use the excuse "only for a short time". It's madness. Otherwise, the route could really be better developed, the way it's frequented. Then I happened to pass the MS Wissenschaft in Bonn, formerly the MS Jenny. Thought about visiting the exhibition, but didn't have the time, maybe later in the year. I don't know anyone on board any more, now that sailor Bruno isn't here this year either, but I'll see Bruno on Tuesday in Würzburg. I'm looking forward to that, too. As soon as I arrived in Cologne I had to freshen up and meet up with one of my favourite colleagues from Mannheim, who hasn't fled there? At least all those who could somehow. It was so nice to talk to Valeska for a few minutes again, as if not a second had passed. I would love to work with her again! That was great. We continued the conversation where we left off last time. Seamless, just the way I love it. Hope to see you again soon! I missed you!! And then, of course, to the concert at the E-Werk in Cologne (I visited a really great location this year, Germany's best concert halls, the Zeche in Bochum is still missing). Supergroup Transatlantic. And what can I say, it was phenomenal. 3 hours of progressive rock at its best. Okay, Portnoy (mighty mick) must have caught his sticks again more often in the past (4 lost 2 caught) but he is a machine! What he does with one foot, many don't do with two drummers. Absolutely Universe, awesome. So tomorrow I have to get up early, tomorrow evening I have a date with my wife in Würzburg and have to catch an early train. In this sense, good night
