One of the best moments of the day? Showering in the evening. When the whole mass of sunscreen, flies, dirt and sweat is rinsed off. Just to add an aftersun and anti-mosquito spray. Then, shortly after the shower, hunger sets in. Back to the tent and eat. Then writing the blog, phoning the wife, planning the route, translating the blog and the other social media things, then finally sleep. In this sense.... What actually happened today? First of all, back to the foundation weekend. Project planning, work plan, distribution of work, shareholder agreement, financial planning and business plan were actually all finished and we were able to agree on a logo and a name. It's going to start soon, I'm looking forward to it. What if it doesn't work out? It doesn't matter, I've generated a lot of experience and I've learned a lot about the medium internet and e-commerce. So off I went this morning, through Koblenz and directly afterwards to the Moselle. Since I already knew the route, I turned off a little earlier in the direction of Burg Eltz, because I wanted to know how the bike would behave on the mountain with luggage. I can manage a good 14%, but that's all I could manage today. After taking the photos, I rode around the castle and got out somewhere in the middle of nowhere, before Cochem I came back to the Moselle. So far so good, I still knew it. So I entered Trier into my navi, 65 km straight ahead. But that wasn't my plan, so I turned off the sat nav and followed the river. Every twist and turn. It's so beautiful here! As expected, today was a parade of retired e-bikers. Seriously, there are 20 of them lined up in front of some cafés, just like the motorbikes used to be lined up in front of the pubs. As a Nobel Prize winner put it so well, "The times they are a-changing." I'll add "Brave new world" right after that. At least they behaved well today, most of them, and made room. But I'm beginning to think they're already in the majority. Anyway, I've noticed that my brakes are working too. Both side cycle path, left side, exit, car driving out, wants to turn right, looks only to the left and drives through. Well, I've been in this situation 4 or 5 times before, and I've been hit by a car, etc. So I've been careful and braked all the way. So I had to be careful and brake hard. "Oh, I didn't see you!" of course, if you don't look..... a few metres further on, on the same cycle path, another guy in an orange shirt comes towards me on his e-bike and blocks my lane. ? I stop and ask what's going on? I looked around, saw the blue signs, "Benutzungspflichtig" (compulsory use) with a double arrow underneath. Those who know me know that before I escalate completely, I first become extremely calm and my neck and forehead swell up massively. I explained the situation to the man on the basis of the signs and asked him not to play the police any more. Everything is calm! He was new to cycling and you could read so much on the internet about cyclists. He is still alive. There wasn't much else, the bike runs well, the landscape is great, and there are a lot of Dutch people here. Here at the campsite they had to go looking for the German-speaking colleague first...... Tomorrow Trier and Luxenburg, I've never been there. I'll probably sleep in France tomorrow. Au revoir
