Week 42 - 45

What has happened in the last few weeks? With cycling it had at least little to do. Much work! After 7 weeks I have arrived and it feels like an eternity again. Everything as always, if something went well it was the others, if it went wrong.....clear who it was. Oh just work, stopthinking about it. I get again longing.... For Stuttgart. At least I was able to spend a weekend there. The planning was a bit confusing, some key points were clear, others kept shifting. Anyway, I could go to the MG again (I haven't been to a gym for a long time, I really missed it), everyone was there again, as if the last years hadn't existed. It was nice, a chat here a chat there, a smile here and there. Once again a feeling of "home" and that in the gym. Longing.for.Stuttgart. (I think I'm homesick) Of course, I overdid it right away, as I found out a few days later. Barbell! Was clear. Then continue eating with Tine, a fellow student of mine. Funnily enough, we are now almost in the same section. So we had something to talk about, after I have no children (and will have) it was a lot about work and what "fantastic" colleagues you meet there. We laughed a lot and ate well. As it is just with me (or was) I had again one of my mass phases (clear move, new job, own company, stress, little sport) and have the weekend happily eaten a lot, or the last few weeks. In the meantime I have regained control over my food consumption and am also back in a weight range that is acceptable before it would have escalated again completely. Mindfulness. Had taken the bicycle of course. In Stuttgart then on Saturday morning the usual routes driven. Up to the Bismarck Tower, then Monte, then Heslach. I.want.back.home. Then still bike inspection at Felix (thanks Capo) then came already Willi and on it went to Uncle Otto, of course eat and chat. Then in the evening the real reason for my visit: Machine Head (and Amon Amarth) concert in the Schleyerhalle. About 20 years ago I had seen them before, LKA. Since then a lot has happened. Well, not with the band, they played mostly stuff from the nineties. It was nice. Twenty years ago I was there with Ewa, I wonder how she is doing. Unfortunately lost contact, as with so many people. On Sunday then still a small tour in the Ostalbkreis, Briegel catch, a bag full (that with eating to much I already told). Remained no time for visits, had to return in the evening by train. In between I was of course 10 times in the Fragola. Homesickness.Schwabstraße.Ohje. Hardly back here in the Rhine-Main area, the apartment was again in front of my feet. Building, setting up, cleaning, since everything was still in boxes and had to be built up first, the own company has of course been delayed, but in the meantime we are finally online: www.ARTranslucent.com and the webshop is working. Thanks to all who worked on the beta (especially Anja and Dani). If you already have everything, or if you want to give something to someone who already has everything, don't force yourself to order something. You will get a real unique piece which nobody has. We have already sold 4 pictures, one of them even went to Italy. And everyone is thrilled! Or are they just nice? Who knows?

What else ? A few days after Stuttgart I went to a concert of Arch Enemy in Frankfurt. In the evening I noticed it already, my circulation inndicated and clearly it was a cold. Mäh. Of course I left the concert early, but it didn't help, I had to stay in bed for the next two days. And find a doctor when you are new in a city. You don't want to make many phone calls, but thanks to the "refuse-anything-foreign" I quickly found a very nice doctor with a very long last name. I'm staying with him, I liked him. I also got to ride my bike a bit, but since the time change it is mostly dark in the evening when I leave the office. Thus remains only in the morning and evening the wtbtw drive. Meanwhile, I have also found someone here who screws on my bike, just around the corner and thereby met someone who builds bikes. Have me a simple but chic Singlespeed screwed together, only the translation makes with the wavy terrain still worry. 52/15 is already violent for 100 meters of altitude on 5 kilometers, but I wanted to learn anyway with more power to pedal. Let's see when I no longer have to push. D What else was there? Oh about work I do not want to think on the WE. Now I go first out my new bike move, then my old, maybe I find again so pretty motifs like the other day. Then I have to continue in the apartment and the homeage or the SocialMedia presence are also still a construction site. The heaters in the apartment are not all working yet. They are vented as far as possible, I suspect too little water in the boiler, but somehow the property management does not feel responsible. Let's see how they react when the deadline and the threat of rent reduction comes. Maybe I get so quickly out of the at least 1 year lease, if I have to move quickly to Stuttgart. So in this sense, have a nice Sunday.
