So the little man with the hammer has done quite a job as it had knocked out my bell. The day yesterday was terribly exhausting and I had probably overdrawn the day before, I felt in the morning already in the little toe. Then yesterday I made some stupid mistakes regarding nutrition. Beginner! My wife was off early to her appointment and I had arranged with the old sea bear Bruno for breakfast at the Old Bridge at 10 o'clock, so I drove off through Würzburg. Breakfast was great, lots to talk about. We hadn't seen each other for a few months, but a lot can happen. It was very nice with you Bruno, see you soon. And I already made the first nutritional mistake, a Nutella roll. At some point my beloved wife joined and then it was already noon. I had a few kilometers ahead of me therefore it went, first up to the Marienburg. First I was looking for an easy way up, but quickly gave up the search and just drove the straight way up. Believe to know why there is no cycling prohibited sign. No normal man drives up there, thought probably also the pedestrians. 18% a song on the lips whistling from the saddle to the top, the thighs were shaking and hurt, no matter the view above was beautiful. Was worth it! Was I there once. Since I did not want to drive the simple, known to me, way via Lohr back home I am then first the Main towards Gemünden. Unfortunately, a Nutalla roll has the effect that one feels very full (invincible) and I had loaded so simply no provisions. I wanted to do on the way. And then today was again one of those days, no matter in which direction you went you had headwind. So that was tough, then at Gemünden, I already knew from my tour to Innsbruck, I turned into the Spessart. And high into the forest. And then suddenly hunger! That went so fast, I was really sick and my energy was all gone. The next store 5 km down the mountain or 10 km further up. An agony these 10 km. Fortunately, the store had bananas, I bought 4 and immediately made 2 away, then it went on. I still had something ahead of me. Further into the forest, high up high, then again steep downhill and again high up high, the 3 banana was also quickly gone. The last banana I had saved for the final (the last hill), there after 90 km at 17 clock arrived I opened the bag, banana gone. I had lost the banana, no! NO! Noooooooooo! I was hungry, dreaming of coke, sweets etc cravings. Thanks Nutella roll! Helped nothing in the forest there was nothing, or on the ground in front of me someone had lost his chips, briefly I played with the thought, but I gritted my teeth and let it roll into the Kinzigtal and the last 40 km home. So now I'm sitting here and listen to a lecture while I type here and already plan the next tour, in this sense until soon!
